Use case
Sending money abroad means comparing exchange rates, fees and delivery times, getting through KYC, and managing balances in several currencies. ZipCoin needed one consistent product on web and mobile that handles all of it.
Constraints
- Support for 180+ countries and 100 currencies.
- KYC and onboarding had to be complete without feeling heavy.
- Web and mobile share one component system, so both apps behave the same.
What I built
Web app (React)
- A 20+ page React web app: home, send, receive, wallets, account management and support pages.
- A send flow that shows the exchange rate, fees and delivery time before the user commits.
- Multi-currency wallet dashboards with Fund, Send and Airtime actions.
- Refer-and-earn with a personal referral code and commission tracking.
Mobile app (Flutter)
- A full Flutter app for iOS and Android covering splash, onboarding, the wallet dashboard and the navigation menu.
- Step-by-step KYC and onboarding with trust and verification badges.
- Airtime top-up alongside transfers.
