Subscription commerce automation

Direct-to-consumer telehealth. Contract.

n8n workflows that keep orders, subscriptions and customer data in sync across commerce, subscription and review platforms, plus a subscription-provider migration.

  • n8n
  • Shopify
  • Subscription APIs

Use case

A direct-to-consumer brand ran on several commerce, subscription and review platforms that had to stay in sync, and it needed to move to a new subscription provider without disrupting customers.

Constraints

  • Customer data and billing had to carry over to the new provider unbroken.
  • Each platform has its own API and data model.

What I built

  • n8n workflows that sync orders, subscriptions and customer data, and trigger lifecycle notifications.
  • The migration of the recurring-subscription system to a new provider.
  • A rebuilt reviews integration.
  • A rebuilt Shopify storefront.

How it works

Subscription commerce automation mapn8n sits at the centre and keeps four systems in sync: the Shopify store with its orders and customers, the new subscription provider that customers were migrated to from the old one, the rebuilt reviews integration, and lifecycle notifications sent to customers.ShopifyordersSubscriptionsmigratedn8n workflowssync, triggerReviewsrebuiltNotificationslifecycle
Automation map. n8n is the hub; customers moved from the old subscription provider to the new one.
