Project Overview:
PMS leverages artificial intelligence to optimize patient data handling, automate appointment scheduling, and enhance medical record management. It streamlines workflows with predictive analytics and personalized care insights, offering secure, real-time access to critical health data for improved decision-making and patient outcomes.
UI/UX Challenges:
After upgrading to Kendo UI 2024, several issues emerged in the healthcare application, including misaligned data grids, overlapping input fields in forms, incorrect time slot displays in appointment calendars, and distortions in patient trend charts. Additional problems included modal alerts failing to display correctly, a confusing navigation menu, unexpected session timeouts, inconsistent performance across devices, a lack of accessibility features, and longer load times for large datasets.
Solutions:
To address these challenges, we implemented auto-resizing columns and dynamic row heights for data grids, redesigned forms with improved spacing and real-time validation, and customized appointment calendars with accurate time zone handling. We also fixed modal visibility issues, rebuilt the navigation for better user experience, added timeout warnings to prevent data loss, optimized UI components for cross-device responsiveness, enhanced accessibility with ARIA labels and keyboard navigation, and introduced lazy loading for improved performance with large datasets.
